On Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, Roof Partners was proud to sponsor an exceptional event hosted by IREM Georgia: a comprehensive tour of the groundbreaking Ponce City Market development and the innovative 725 Ponce office tower, culminating in a refreshing social at Minero.
The day began at 10:00 AM, offering attendees a unique behind-the-scenes look at two of Atlanta's most dynamic properties. 725 Ponce, a Cousins Asset, stands as a testament to modern industrial architecture, boasting 372,000 square feet of Class-A office space. Nestled along the vibrant Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail, this tower provides unparalleled access to a plethora of dining, retail, and recreational options.
Greta Miller, Property Manager from Cousins Properties, led an insightful tour of 725 Ponce, showcasing its impressive amenities and strategic location. The building's proximity to various hotels (Wylie Hotel Atlanta, Hotel Clermont by Oliver), retail stores (including Williams Sonoma, J. Crew, and Reformation), dining establishments (such as Pancake Social, Rina, and Chin Chin), and fitness centers like The Forum Athletic Club highlights its appeal to today's professionals. Furthermore, the private shuttle service connecting to MARTA and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport underscores its commitment to convenience.
Franco Bohn from Jamestown shared the vision and management behind the transformative Ponce City Market, a hub of creativity and community. Ponce City Market, a marvel of adaptive reuse, boasts a rich history. Originally constructed in 1926 as a Sears, Roebuck & Co. distribution and retail center, the massive structure sat vacant for decades before Jamestown Properties undertook its ambitious redevelopment. The project transformed the historic building into a vibrant mixed-use destination, seamlessly blending residential, retail, office, and dining spaces. The iconic central food hall, with its exposed brick and steel beams, preserves the building's industrial character while offering a curated selection of culinary delights. The rooftop amusement park, Skyline Park, adds a unique recreational element, offering stunning city views. The redevelopment has been instrumental in revitalizing the surrounding neighborhoods and solidifying the Belt Line as a central hub of Atlanta life.

A truly special moment occurred during the tour of Chick-fil-A’s satellite location at Ponce City Market. Pam Johnson, Account Executive for Roof Partners, described the encounter as "the best tour I've encountered EVER! So informative and fun!" She was deeply moved by Melanie, the Chick-fil-A representative, who embodied Truett Cathy's mission of spreading love and kindness. "It was almost as if I were standing next to Elaine Bare, Founder of Roof Partners, and listening to her!" Pam shared. Melanie spoke of her work as a "divine appointment" and her life's mission to share love with everyone she met.
The event, attended by multi-family and commercial property management professionals, asset managers, students, and industry partners, provided a valuable opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing.
